GEMC is a software framework that uses geant4 to simulate the passage of particles through matters.

gemc is part of the CUE Common Environment. It is installed in /site/12gev_phys.

Environment

The gemc uses the JLAB Common environment, set up using the softenv script:

source /site/12gev_phys/softenv.csh 2.5
